We want to be a sustainable theatre company. Day to day, we use recycled loo paper, drink fair-trade teas and coffees, ride bikes, source our stuff locally, try to cut our paper use, use low energy light bulbs and try to cut down on any unnecessary trucking about.
For each show, we try to use as many recycled materials as we can – we use charity shops and freecycle to find costumes, props and sets. We keep a small store of costumes, set and props that we try to reuse as much as possible. After each show anything we can’t keep we recycle on.
We have been performing some shows in our space so we encourage our audiences to come on foot, by bike or on public transport to our venue.
We make shows about the environment, actively promoting sustainability as an issue.
