Caroline Garland – theatre maker
Trained at Bretton Hall in Theatre Acting Devised Performance. She is Co-Founder and Joint Director of Bath based site specific Award Winning company KILTER THEATRE whose work includes collaborations with the ICIA and Bath Theatre Royal and productions on cycle paths and allotment sites. She has worked on numerous occasions with the National Theatre Studio, Lyric Hammersmith, Ustinov, The egg, Tobacco Factory, Bristol Old Vic, The Naturals, Tall Stories, Theatre 503 and Bold&Saucy. Sarah Goddard – theatre maker
Studied at Hull University and Desmond Jones. She played Stepmother/Mother/Tail in Cinderella (West Yorkshire Playhouse), Storyteller in Bluebeard (Brompton Cemetery), Mother in Natalie Nicole Nicole’s Adventures (Hampstead Theatre/National Studio), Margie in Café Cinderella, Julie in And The Stars Fell at Night (Theatre 503), Gertrude/Jack’s Mum in Jack (York Theatre Royal/Tutti Frutti), Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Holofernes/Katherine in Loves Labours Lost, MC Chorus/ Good/Bad Angel in Dr. Faustus (Oxford Shakespeare Company). Sarah has worked with bold & saucy since 1998 and has played Roxanne in Cyrano de Bergerac (Lincolns Inn and tour), Terri in Fat Doreen’s Production (Southwark Playhouse), Tealady in LIVE/WORK (fh space), Maria in Twelfth Night (Oxford and tour).
Oliver Langdon – theatre maker
Trained in classical acting at Birmingham University & in physical theatre at Jacques Lecoq, Paris. He is a Co-Founder and Joint Director of site specific theatre company Kilter whose work includes collaborations with the ICIA and Bath Theatre Royal and productions on cycle paths and allotment sites. Recently he has worked with the National Theatre Studio, Dance & Multimedia Company Precarious & Rural Touring Company Angel Exit. Other recent credits include work with the Bristol Old Vic, Strangeface, Coup De Theatre, BAC, bold & saucy and Glue. For B&S Oliver has played Mr Barry Barry (HSBC, VHS, PLONkr) in The Mr Barry Barry Show & Fat Doreen’s Bridesmaid and church belle in Fat Doreen’s Wedding.
Kai Simmons – theatre maker
Worked on many projects for bold & saucy, including the devised pieces Live/Work (Forest Hill) and Bold in Her Breeches (Old Fire Station, Oxford), outdoor productions of The Taming of the Shrew, Twelfth Night, Macbeth, As You Like It and Cyrano de Bergerac, and Steven Berkoff’s Lunch at the Hen & Chickens Theatre. He has also collaborated with Coup de Theatre and Kilter Theatre on site-specific pieces. His other theatre work includes many tours for Tall Stories in the UK and USA, several productions with Trestle, touring with Angel Exit Theatre and continuing work with mask company Strangeface across the UK and, most recently, in Iran. He has worked with regional companies, including Eastern Angles and Proteus, and appeared at several London theatres, including The Almeida and The Lyric Hammersmith. He has also featured in short films, including Light Work (2004; Karl Cresser, Mangle Films) with fellow B&S company member Sarah Goddard and several projects with L.A.-based director Michael Watson. He continues to work with both theatre and film companies on developing new scripts and ideas. Represented by Stage Centre Management.
Claire Wyatt – theatre maker
Worked lots with bold & saucy as well as other devised theatre companies like Fuse and Fat Doreen. She is also a Co-Founder and Joint Director of site specific theatre company Kilter whose work includes collaborations with the ICIA and Bath Theatre Royal. Her theatre credits include Ragueneau in Cyrano de Bergerac and Rosaline and Jaquenetta in Loves’ Labour’s Lost for the Oxford Shakespeare Company, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth at the Courtyard Theatre and Mother in Bluebeard with Coup de Theatre. She has produced in the West End with her first theatre company, True Red, with a production of In Flame. Claire had also performed in Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre’s Bard Birthday Trails as a ‘Guerilla Sonneteer’ to unsuspecting Londoners. TV work includes Absolute Power for the BBC. Recorded work: Claire features regularly in various episodes of the Dr Who audio adventures and has recently voiced some ground breaking animations about the future of fashion and retail. Independent film credits include Radio Werewolf and Sharon in Fit for Nothing.
